[IDEAS Project] From IDEAS to IMPACT: Transforming 200 ASEAN e-Business and Digital Experts into Trainers to Ignite Digital Innovation

📢  In a groundbreaking initiative, the Asia Pacific Women's Information Center (APWINC) has sucessfully hosted

a 'Training of Trainers(ToT) on e-Business and Digital Skills for ASEAN women MSMEs,' spanning 10 days.

📢 This pivotal training brought together 200 e-Business and digital experts from across ASEAN countries.

 

 

 

Enhancing Digital Economy Participation for ASEAN Women Micro-, Small-, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) Project,”

or “IDEAS Project,” is a 5-year project (2022-2026), funded by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF),

and implemented by APWINC, one of the UNESCO Chair in Communication Technology for Women

 

 

 

APWINC has concluded the ToT for 200 potential e-Business and Digital Skills trainers from July 3rd to 12th, in Seoul, Republic of Korea. 

 

👥 A Gathering of Experts and Visionaries!

The training had the participation of 200 experts in e-business and digital fields from ASEAN countries,
and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ASEAN Secretariat.


💡 Knowledge Empowerment for Digital Transformation!

These experts will function as trainers, imparting digital economic participation skills to 4,002 women MSMEs across the ASEAN region.
The ToT aims to equip them with a wide range of e-business content and
deliver customized education tailored to the specific circumstances of each country.


🎓 Trainers Turned Champions of Change! 

Throughout the immersive 10-day experience, experts delved into a rich array of e-business contents, acquiring insights that transcend borders.
This newfound knowledge positions them as trainers equipped to impart essential capabilities to 4,002 ASEAN women MSMEs.
