📢 Dive into a realm of innovation and collaboration as the Asia Pacific Women's Information Center (APWINC) takes the lead
with the '2023 Korea-ASEAN Cooperation Project Action Plan Workshop'! 

 

 

“Enhancing Digital Economy Participation for ASEAN Women Micro-, Small-, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) Project,”

or “IDEAS Project,” is a 5-year project (2022-2026), funded by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF),

and implemented by APWINC, one of the UNESCO Chair in Communication Technology for Women

 

 

 

🌟 In an impactful initiative, APWINC has concluded an Acion Plan Workshop from March 14th to 15th, in Seoul,  Republic of Korea.🌟

 

 

👥 Who Attended?

A dynamic assembly of 49 individuals, comprising representatives from 14 local implementing institutions,
10 local consultants,
 a programme manager from AKCF, and officials from the ASEAN Secretariat

congregated to shape the future of female entrepreneurship.

  

 

🌍 Global Collaboration for Local Impact!

The workshop served as a melting pot of ideas, fostering collaboration and exchange of expertise.

📝 The highlight of the event was the formulation of a comprehensive action plans.

Crafted collaboratively, those blueprints aim to break barriers and pave the way

for increased participation of women in the ASEAN small business landscape.

Discussions delved into innovative ways to bolster women MSMEs in the ASEAN region,

with a special emphasis on amplifying their presence in the burgeoning digital economy

🤝  Beyond discussions, the workshop facilitated invaluable networking opportunities.
