Small & Micro-Enterprises (SMEs) are the heart of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies as they take up more than 90% of the APEC economic structure. The informatization of SMEs is essential in developing the competitive economic power of APEC. Because the e-business of female-owned SMEs is relatively weak in current APEC economies, expanding the leadership of female entrepreneurs is crucial. Moreover, further systematic research is required in relation to the current status, policy, and demand of the e-business of women's SMEs in the 21 APEC member economies.
