Joint Seminar on UNESCO-UNITWIN Hosted Universities 'High Education for Sustainable Development and Capacity Enhancement'
As part of UNESCO-UNITWIN programme, a UNESCO-UNITWIN joint seminar on 'Higher Education for Sustainable Development and Capacity Building' will be held on 5th April, 2018 at Best Western Premier Seoul Garden Hotel. With delegations from Mongolia, Papua New guinea, Nepal and Cambodia, Sookmyung Women's Unviersity and Handong Global University will discuss the successes and challenges of advancing higher education, and ways to establish innovative partnerships.
This seminar was organized under the theme of 'High Education for Sustainable Development and Capacity Enhancement'. Through this seminar, we will share the achievements and lessons we have learned from the UNESCO-UNITWIN project, and discuss the direction that higher education institutions should pursue in order to contribute to enhancing their capabilities and achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals through the sharing of various educational cooperation cases and exchange of opinions.
Sookmyung Women's University APWINC conducts UNESCO-UNITWIN business under the theme of strengthening women's capabilities through ICT and leadership training. Through UNESCO-UNITWIN, we look forward to the widespread sharing of knowledge and experience among countries around the world, and we look forward to strengthening the capacity of institutions of higher learning to achieve sustainable development goals.
