UNESCO-UNITWIN Recruitment of Local Education Participation Students(Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia) (~5/6)
APWINC has been operating the UNESCO-UNITWIN program since 2016 with support from the Ministry of Education. The UNESCO-UNITWIN Program is a program that enhances ICT and Leadership skills for girls in developing countries under the theme "Strengthening Women's Competencies Through ICT and Leadership Education."

This year, we are hosting the program with our cooperative universities in Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia.
We recruit students to participate in local education that is conducted by visiting five cooperating universities in four countries during the summer vacation. Please apply if you are intersted.
1, Period : July to August within one week each
① Quy Nhon University of Vietnam(in Quy Nhon): 7/7~7/13 (Duration of training 7/8~7/12)
② National University of Laos(in Vientiane): 7/21~7/27(Duration of training 7/22~7/26)
③ Souphanouvong University of Laos(in LuangPrabang): 7/28~8/3(Duration of training 7/29~8/2)
④ Gadjah Mada University of Indonesia(in Yogyakarta): 8/11~8/17(Duration of training 8/12~8/16)
⑤ Phnom Penh Royal University of Cambodia(in Phnom Penh): 8/18~8/24 (Duration of training 8/19~8/23)
※ This is the period that includes travel time, and the local training period is five days.
※ Depending on the flight schedule and local circumstances, there may be an additional 1-2 days before or after the stated period.
2. Recruiters and activities
- 00 people in ICT/Leadership
- Assisting lectures and supporting group activities
- Support group presentation preparation
- Assist and support ICT labs (such as Aduino)
- Planning and conducting leadership special activities or field trips
3. Apply Qualification and Advantage
- Students and students on leave during the 3rd and 8th semesters
- Students who can communicate and train in English
- Advantage of related majors in ICT field
4. Countries and sectors to apply
- Countries to apply: 1 to 3 candidate entries based on local training schedules
- Sectors to apply : Choose one area of ICT or Leadership

- For the safety of participants, basic health-related vaccinations such as hepatitis A, typhoid and tetanus are required.
- Avoid eating foods that can cause disease, such as fruits, unsealed drinks(including ice), raw vegetables, and street foods.
6. Method of apply
Please fill out the attached application form, pledge form, and consent for the collection and utilization of personal information and submit it to apwinc@sookmyung.ac.kr by midnight May 6.
※ You must be able to participate in all schedules of 2 pre-training sessions and launch ceremonies (scheduled for May-June) and activity reporting sessions (scheduled for September), and you may be disqualified if you do not attend.
※※ If you do not comply with the above conditions, you will be notified that you will be able to cancel your participation in the local training program and return to the home (one's own expense).
