The APWINC of Sookmyung Women's University said in 30th that it has conducted an "invitation training to strengthen capabilities for women's human resources development in Cambodia" from 19th to 28th as part of the first Gyeonggi Province International Development Cooperation Project.
In Cambodia, a total of 10 high-level government officials from ministries, including the secretary-general of the Women's National Committee, the vice minister of agriculture and fisheries, and the Ministry of Gender Equality and the Labor Ministry, participated in the training.
The Cambodian training group shared South Korea's women's human resources development policy, policies to support employment and startups, and success stories, and visited Gyeonggi Province and women-run companies for a meeting. They also listened to the status and operation cases of the Gyeonggi Women's Performance Development Center and held meetings with the actual users of the center.
Sookmyung Women's University's APWINC is a research institute established in 1996 to improve the information culture and digital economic capabilities of women in the Asia-Pacific region.
