[News]Workshop on Eliminate the information gap between women's generations
Korea Internet Information Center (KRNIC) and APWINC (of Sookmyung Women's University) announced On the 2 day that the 3rd Korean WENT2001 will be held from July 4 to July 6 at Sookmyung Women's University.
Korean WENT 2001 is conducted by participating in programs with Mother and daughter or women and girls in their 20s and 40s for the purpose of "eliminating the digital divide among women."
The goals were to expand the internet population base and eliminate the digital divide between generations, improve women's information and communication skills, and provide IT education for female information providers aimed at network activation.
Major programs include 'Special Lecture on Computer Assembly and Practice', 'Internet-Related Qualifications for Information Age', 'Special Lecture on Electronic Commerce' and 'Cyber Culture'. In particular, on the 8th of July, the Culture Night will be held to allow the participants of the Korean WENT and 50 participants of the APWENT international workshop to exchange culture and information.
