‘Development and Delivery of Livelihood-Based e-Service for ASEAN Women’ were held in Jakarta, Indonesia
Training for Trainers and Evaluation Forum for ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Project, titled ‘Development and Delivery of Livelihood-Based e-Service for ASEAN Women’ were held in Jakarta, Indonesia from March 30th to April 2nd, 2015. It was co-hosted by Asia Pacific Women’s Information Network Center (APWINC) of Sookmyung Women’s University (SMU), Korea, and Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (MoWE-CP), Indonesia.
30 of public officials, NGO leaders and local telecenter operators of Indonesia have participated in the training to strengthen their e-Service capacity and to promote the dissemination and sustainable use of the ASEAN e-Service Toolkit. The participants, moreover, have focused on learning Indonesia pilot e-Service application, ‘e-Daman’ which provides digital assistance for victims of sexual and domestic violence.
In the Evaluation Forum, key project partners from ASEAN, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea, ITU, and local researchers from the ASEAN countries shared the outcome of the project and engaged in transferring of project ownership to ASEAN member states.
